The NFL FLAG FUND offers financial assistance for NFL FLAG participants nationwide. A parent or legal guardian of the participant must complete the application to be considered for the 2025 NFL FLAG FUND grant cycle.

Financial assistance is only available for upcoming seasons and cannot be used to refund registration fees that have already been paid by the parent/legal guardian.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is FDC Flag Football co-ed?

Yes! We are a co-ed league where both boys and girls can be on the same team.

Will we be playing other towns?

No. We play against the other FDC teams.

What time and day will the practices be?

The Head Coaches will chose their own practice day and time, practice is a minimum of 1 day a week and runs between 60 to 120 minutes. Players will need cleats and lots of water for every practice.

What day will games be on?

Games will be held on Saturdays on the football field at Rippowam Middle School in Stamford, CT.

Will all teams be perfectly balanced?

Teams will be selected via a Coaches Draft to better ensure Teams are equal.

Our goal will be to balance the teams the best we can. However a perfectly balanced team is almost impossible to achieve because a teams success can be based on a coaches knowledge and skills as much as a players abilities and potential.

Please do not request your child plays with a certain Coach and/or other players.

What equipment is required to play?

You will receive a reversible NFL Flag Jersey, shorts, and socks when you register and they are yours to keep. These will be what your child wears for all games.

What age groups can play with FDC ?

Grades 1st -5th. When registering, please register your child for their "rising grade" in the Fall of 2025. For example, if you child will be in 3rd Grade in the Fall of 2025, please indicate that your child is a 3rd Grader.
