Fall 2025 Flag Football - 6th Graders

Welcome to the 2025 Flag Football Season Registration! Grade 6th only


Join Us for an Exciting Fall 2025 Season!

When: September 13 through November 23rd, 2025.
Where: Rippowam Middle School Football Field
Date/Time: 
GAMES: Saturday Mornings. Saturday start times vary by grade/division. TIME RANGES ARE NOT GUARANTEED AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON COACH FEEDBACK. Schedules for games will be published to social channels each week and sent via team emails .
PRACTICES: Each team will have at least 1, :60-:90 practice during the week. Practices are held on weekdays in the late afternoon or early evening. Your Coaches will communicate this information to you via email.

8/23: Player Evaluations (2nd -6th grades only)
8/25- 8/27: Coaches Draft/Team Selection
9/6: Pre-season Jamboree Practice scrimmages & FDC Info Sessions (FDC Info Session: FDC Overview | FAQ - PM & Online - Details to come)
9/13: First Games
11/8: Playoffs Begin
11/23: FDC Stamford Bowl


Program Highlights:
The objective of FDC Flag Football is to teach our young athletes life and motivational skills. Participating in organized sports will instill in every child the importance of sportsmanship, physical fitness, goal setting/achievement and most importantly teamwork. 
  • Fun & Fitness: Kids will stay active and healthy while having a blast on the field.
  • Team Spirit: Emphasis on sportsmanship, cooperation, and building friendships.
  • Safe Play: Non-contact format ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Team Selection: Coaches pre-rank players, team blind draft selection process
Registration Details:
  • Sign-Up Deadline: August 15, 2025
  • Cost: $225 per child (includes a team jersey, shorts, socks, and flag belt)
Equipment Needed:
  • Mouth guard. As a part of NFL Flag rules, players are required to have a mouthpiece. These are available at sporting goods stores or at online retailers like Amazon, Target, or Walmart.

Multi-Sport Athletes: We fully support multi-sport participation and recognize the value of diverse athletic experiences for youth athletes. That said, to be fair to all players and maintain the integrity of the league, we ask that Flag Football be treated as a priority during the season.
⏰ Please note: We will not be rescheduling FDC events around other sports.
